Our public schools in Johnson County continue to rank among the top public schools in the nation.

Dan supports:

• Fully funding our public schools.

• Spending public tax dollars on public schools.

• Increasing incentives to attract and retain new and existing teachers.

• Local control.

Preservation of a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions.

• In August 2022, Johnson County voters overwhelming supported a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions.

• Some Kansas Legislators still didn’t hear the voter’s voice.

• Dan is committed to upholding a woman’s right to choose.

• Kansas needs to work harder toward increasing options that assist older Kansans with being able to remain in their own homes and communities. Our growing aging population dictates that we be more cost-effective with long-term care options and in-home supports and services.

• We also need to be mindful of the needs of our Military Veterans, and make sure they are supported in their time of need.

Fostering collaboration and building trust across parties creates comprehensive, sustainable polices.

Bipartisanship promotes stability, innovation, and reduces polarization. It strengthens democracy through shared goals, compromise, and enhanced accountability.
